At studio L. you work directly with the designer. This means we are mindful of a project’s timeline and budget at every stage and encourage continuous communication. We listen. We think. We ask questions. We research, then tailor our process and solutions to fulfill expectations.

WE tap specialists from different fields

We design-quilt. Our active role in the design community means established relationships with vendors such as copywriters, illustrators, photographers, printers and programmers. We pair the appropriate vendor with each project and manage the input. This collaboration brings access to the best creative talent available to enhance a project’s overall impact and intent.

We ask for feedback

Once a project is complete and reached its audience, we ask for feedback. We always want to know the successes and identify areas we can improve.

Experiment

We love to play…

with paper, color, and ink. Whenever we get a chance to explore letterpress printing we take advantage of its craft. We’ve produced some award-wining promotional items with In to Ink - one of the most talented letterpress shops around. Lisa Huppert . creative director

 

Lisa is a Southern California native and graduate of San Diego State University where she received a bachelor of arts in graphic design. Lisa likes to think of herself as a visual communicator, expressing ideas and messages with color, type and pattern. She is genuine in her approach and believes design is a collaborative process. When working with her, you will find she listens to your ideas and engages you in the process. She believes in doing something creative everyday and finds inspiration in playing the piano, painting and spending time with her two sons.

Lisa also enjoys working with students and has more than nine years of teaching experience. She has lectured at the University of San Diego and San Diego State University where she has taught both beginning and advanced visual communication courses. Her work has been recognized both locally and nationally for its design accomplishments.
